What are reservations?
Reserves are the amount we temporarily set aside in your wallet for each new order you confirm until it's delivered or rejected, to cover shipping and return costs. If there isn't enough funds or a balance to cover the reserves, you won't be able to confirm orders. This amount is subtracted from your available funds.
Cash on delivery orders
When you confirm a cash on delivery order, you will see that the wallet reserves the shipping and fulfillment x2 from the available funds (or from the initial €300 credit stored in reservations , if you are just starting out): shipping and fulfillment there and back.
For example : if the order indicates that shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment €1, then when you confirm that order the wallet will reserve €9: €7 (€3.50 x2) + €2 (€1 fulfillment x2)
When the order is delivered, the amount reserved for shipping and fulfillment will be released from the wallet . This way, the amount is available for future reservations.
If you want to know the reservation of each order, you can check it in the "Reservations" tab of the wallet , "Amount" column.
Orders paid in advance (card, Paypal, etc.)
Each time you confirm a paid order, the wallet reserves the total order costs from available funds . This includes: product cost + outbound shipping + outbound fulfillment + taxes, if applicable.
For example : if the order indicates that the product costs €3, shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment €1, when you confirm the wallet will reserve €7.50 + taxes: €3 for the product + €3.50 for one-way shipping + €1 for one-way fulfillment.
If you don't have enough
available funds for the wallet to process the reservation, you won't be able to confirm the order. In this case, you'll need
to make a transfer for the total amount and wait for it to be credited to your
wallet .
