How do wallet reserves work?
Cash on delivery orders
When you confirm a cash on delivery order on Dropea, you will see that the wallet reserves the shipping and fulfillment x3 from the available funds (or from the initial €300 credit stored in reserves , if you are just starting out): shipping and fulfillment there and back + insurance.
For example : if the order indicates that shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment €1, then when you confirm that order the wallet will reserve €3.50 x 3 + 1 fulfillment x 3 = €13.50
When the order is delivered, the amount reserved for shipping and fulfillment will be released, along with the additional insurance. This way, the amount is available for future reservations.
If you want to know the reservation of each order, you can check it in the "Reservations" tab of the wallet , "Amount" column.
Orders paid in advance (card, Paypal, etc.)
Every time you confirm a paid order on Dropea, the wallet reserves the total order costs from the available funds . This includes: product cost + outbound shipping + outbound fulfillment + taxes, if applicable.
For example : if the order indicates that the product costs €3, shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment €1, when you confirm the wallet will reserve 3 of the product + €3.50 shipping + 1 fulfillment = €7.50 + taxes
If you don't have enough available funds for the wallet to process the reservation, you won't be able to confirm the order. In this case, you'll need to make a transfer for the total amount and wait for it to be credited to your wallet .
