At Dropea, it is forbidden to publish, sell, promote, or distribute products that use a registered or recognized trademark without authorization.

This policy applies to both suppliers and dropshippers and aims to protect intellectual property rights and ensure that products listed on the platform are legitimate.

🚨 Important:
It is not permitted to use recognized brands or to market replicas, imitations or counterfeits within dropea.

🏷️ What is considered a registered or recognized trademark?

Registered or recognized trademarks are those that belong to identifiable companies or manufacturers and have their own commercial identity.

Some examples are:

  • Gucci.
  • Versace.
  • Louis Vuitton.
  • Nike.
  • Adidas.
  • Apple.
  • Samsung.
  • Any other registered or widely recognized trademark.

The prohibition is not limited solely to the brands listed here. It also applies to any other brand whose name, logo, design, image, or trade name belongs to a third party.

❌ What uses are prohibited?

It is not allowed:

  • Publishing original products of a recognized brand without authorization for their sale or distribution.
  • Using a brand name in a product title, description, or images without authorization.
  • Using logos, symbols, prints or visual elements that identify another brand.
  • Selling products that imitate the design, packaging, or appearance of a well-known brand.
  • Posting products using expressions such as "Gucci-like" , "Versace-style" , "inspired by" or similar to take advantage of a brand's identity.
  • Selling replicas, copies, forgeries or imitations.
  • Slightly modifying a brand name or logo to try to avoid its identification.
⚠️ Please note:
Stating that a product is a replica, a copy, or an imitation does not make its sale permitted.

✅ Can I use my own brand?

Yes. You can publish and market products under your own brand , provided you have the right to use it and it does not copy or imitate the identity of another registered brand.

💡 Allowed example:
If a dropshipper or supplier creates their own brand, uses a proper name, an original logo and a design that does not belong to or imitate third parties, they will be able to market their products under that identity.

A unique brand must have original elements and not generate confusion with existing brands.

📦 Supplier Responsibility

Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that the products they list and supply:

  • They are not counterfeit or replicas.
  • Do not use third-party trademarks, logos, or designs without authorization.
  • They must have the necessary permits for their commercialization.
  • Include images, texts, and materials that you can legally use.

The supplier must also provide documentation proving the legitimacy or authorization of sale when Dropea requests it.

🛒 Dropshipper Responsibilities

Dropshippers are responsible for verifying that the products they list in their stores and promote in their campaigns:

  • Do not use well-known trademarks without authorization.
  • Do not present your products as replicas, imitations, or copies.
  • Do not include logos or references to third-party brands.
  • Do not create confusion about the origin or manufacturer of the product.

Even if a product comes from a supplier, the dropshipper should review the information, images, and advertisements before posting or promoting them.

🔎 What happens if an unauthorized product is detected?

If Dropea detects possible misuse of a trademark or the sale of a replica, it may:

  • Remove or block the product.
  • Request documentation that proves the authorization to sell it.
  • Temporarily suspend its marketing while the case is reviewed.
  • Limit or deactivate the account in case of serious or repeated breaches.
