💼 What are wallet reserves and how do they work?

Reservations are amounts that Dropea temporarily holds in your wallet each time you confirm an order. This reservation is maintained until the order is delivered or rejected .

📌 What are reservations for?
They serve to temporarily cover the costs associated with the order, such as shipping, fulfillment, returns or the cost of the product, depending on the type of order.
⚠️ Important:
If you do not have enough money in available funds or balance to cover reservations, you will not be able to confirm new orders.

💵 Cash on delivery orders

When you confirm a cash on delivery order, the wallet reserves the shipping and fulfillment costs twice from your available funds :

  • 🚚 One-way shipment.
  • Return shipment.
  • 📦 One-way Fulfillment.
  • ↩️ Fulfill back.

If you're just starting out, this booking can also be taken from the initial €300 credit held in bookings.

🧮 Example:
If shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment costs €1 , the wallet will reserve €9 : €7 for shipping (€3.50 x 2) + €2 for fulfillment (€1 x 2) .

Once the order is delivered, the shipping and fulfillment fee will be released. That amount will then be available for future bookings.

🔎 Where can I see the reservation for each order?
You can check it in the Wallet's Reserves tab, within the Amount column.

💳 Prepaid orders

For orders paid in advance, such as by card, PayPal or other similar methods, the wallet reserves the total cost of the order from the available funds .

This includes:

  • 🛍️ Product cost.
  • 🚚 One-way shipment.
  • 📦 One-way Fulfillment.
  • 🧾 Taxes, if applicable.
🧮 Example:
If the product costs €3 , shipping costs €3.50 and fulfillment costs €1 , the wallet will reserve €7.50 + taxes : €3 for the product + €3.50 for outbound shipping + €1 for outbound fulfillment.
⚠️ Remember:
If you do not have enough available funds to cover the reservation, you will not be able to confirm the order.
In that case, you will need to make a transfer for the total amount of the expenses and wait for it to be credited to your wallet.
