Each Shopify store connected to dropea can notify you of two things in the "Order Alerts" banner on the Orders page: abandoned carts and orders that don't include dropea products. Now you can turn off either of these notifications for each store. This is useful, for example, if you sell your own products in the same store and don't want to see a notification for every non-dropea order.

| ๐ซ IF YOU TURN IT OFF Dropea stops saving abandoned shopping carts from that store. They stop appearing in the Orders banner, including those you already had. | ๐ซ IF YOU TURN IT OFF Those orders will no longer appear in the Orders banner, including those you already had. Dropea stops marking them in Shopify: it doesn't give them the note or the error label. |
๐ก Remember: Turning off a notification doesn't delete anything. If you turn it back on, the notifications that were there will reappear in the banner.
The store is a Shopify store connected to Dropea. Other types of stores don't have this option. The account owner or a collaborator with permission to edit stores can change these settings. The Dropea team can also do it for you. Both notifications remain active until someone turns them off. Reconnecting or reinstalling the app won't turn them back on.
Go to Stores, tap the three dots ยทยทยท next to your Shopify store, and select Notices. You can also access this from the store details page using the Notices button.
Store menu in the Stores list.
Select the alerts you want to see and tap Save. The change will be applied immediately.
Any other reason why a Shopify order doesn't go to Dropea will still be reported, even if you have both notifications turned off. And the "Send to Dropea" button in Shopify will always tell you why an order wasn't created.
I have several stores. Does this apply to all of them?
No. Each store has its own notices; change them at each one.
I turned off "Orders without drop products" and an order of mine with drop products is not going through.
That notice only hides orders without any products linked to Dropea. If the order includes Dropea products and fails for another reason, it will still appear in the banner with the reason.
Is this the same as pausing synchronization?
No. With notifications turned off, the store continues to sync orders, stock, and tracking normally; you just stop seeing those notifications. If you pause syncing, the store remains connected, but it stops receiving orders and sending orders until you reactivate it.
If I turn off abandoned shopping carts, will I stop receiving orders?
No. Orders still come in. You just stop seeing the shopping carts that didn't result in a purchase.
