Tag dropea_error
The dropea_error tag on Shopify orders serves to indicate that for some reason dropea was unable to migrate the order to the platform.
This label only appears if the product is correctly linked to Dropea. So, if your order isn't displayed in Dropea and doesn't have this label, your issue is most likely related to an incorrect link between the Dropea product/pack and your store.
You can view the reason for the error by going to the "Orders" section of Shopify, hovering over the note icon next to the order ID from outside the order, or by hovering over the note icon from within the order in the "Notes" section.
Below we detail a list of the most common errors and their possible solutions.
dropea_ error: Insufficient stock
The order cannot be migrated to Dropea because the product (or one of the products, in the case of a pack) contained in the order is out of stock.
Solution
Step 1: Search for the product by ID in the Dropea product catalog and confirm that it's out of stock (add a comma to the end of the ID so it only shows you the product you need).
Attention : To view a product that is out of stock in the catalog, you must select the "Show out of stock products" box.
Step 2: Once Dropea confirms that the product is out of stock, you should contact the supplier to confirm if they will restock the product using the
product form and wait for a response.
Attention : You should ALWAYS confirm that a product is out of stock in the dropea product catalog and NOT in Shopify, because the platforms do not communicate bidirectionally.
Step 3: If, when checking the product's stock in Dropea, it turns out that there is stock available, you can resend the orders that weren't synced with Dropea due to the error. The same applies if you receive confirmation of the product's replenishment from the supplier.
dropea_error: The postal code is not valid for Spain
Attention : This error label is valid for both Spain and Portugal.
The order cannot be migrated to dropea because:
a- The postal code entered by the customer corresponds to a destination without coverage.
Spain: We ship to all of mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands, except the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla .
Portugal: We do not ship to the islands , only to mainland Portugal.
Solution to problem a : Check if the postal code belongs to an area without coverage. If so, you will not be able to send the order.
We recommend that you exclude uncovered areas from your COD form to avoid receiving orders that you can't ship.
b- the postal code entered by the customer is not correct for the address indicated.
Solution for issue b : Find the correct zip code or verify it with the customer. Once you have it, edit it under "Shipping address" in the Shopify order and save the changes so Dropea can migrate it to the platform.
Important : We do not recommend using Google Maps to verify the postal code, as it may be incorrect. It's best to verify it directly with the customer or use a website that provides this service.
dropea_error: The city name must contain at least 3 characters
The order cannot be migrated to Dropea because the destination city is not listed in the shipping address.
Solution 1 : Complete the city field in the "shipping address" field within the order on Shopify and save the changes so Dropea can migrate it to the platform.
Solution 2 : Mark the city field as required on your COD form to permanently resolve this error.
dropea_error: Name cannot be longer than 20 characters
The order cannot be migrated to Dropea because the first or last name entered by the customer is too long.
Solution : Delete some of the customer's first or last names under "shipping address" in the Shopify order and save the changes so Dropea can migrate it to the platform.
dropea_error: The phone number does not have 9 valid digits
The order cannot be migrated to Dropea because the phone number does not meet the required 9 digits to process the order.
Solution : If the customer provided an email address on the order, contact them to verify their phone number. Once you have it, fill it in under "Shipping Address" within the order in Shopify and save the changes so Dropea can migrate it to the platform. If you can't contact the customer in any way, you won't be able to ship the order, as the phone number is required to process and ship an order on Dropea.
dropea_error: The order contains products that cannot be processed by dropea
The order cannot be migrated to dropea because:
a- is part of a pack that is not active in dropea.
Solution to problem a : Check the "Packs" subsection of the Dropea dashboard to make sure the pack is in the "active" status. If it isn't active, activate it and then you can
resend the orders that haven't synced with Dropea due to the error.
b- you try to send two or more products together that are not from the same supplier.
Solution to problem b : Dropea doesn't allow you to ship products from different suppliers together. If you want to ship them together, you'll be responsible for the shipping costs for each product, and they'll be sent separately.
c- you try to send a product that is in an inactive state in dropea.
Solution to problem c : it is not possible to verify by your own means if a product is inactive in dropea, so in this case you must contact the dropea customer service team through any of the official contact channels (chat, WhatsApp or email) so that they can tell you the product and supplier ID and you can channel your query through the
product form .
